2 oz
A brandy produced in the wine-region surrounding Cognac, France. Cognac must be twice distilled and aged for at least two years in French oak.
0.75 oz
A fruity, rich and sweet vermouth that dates back to 1786. Thought of as a sweet vermouth with added vanilla; great with whiskey. We treat this like sweet vermouth.
0.5 oz
Meaning 'scented' in spanish, this is a sherry made in Jerez produced by oxidative aging giving it a dark color and nutty flavor. Unlike the Fino and Amontillado sherries, in Oloroso the flor yeast is suppressed by fortification at an earlier stage, allowing to slowly oxidize for longer time periods (often years) in American or Canadian oak barrels.
0.25 oz
A bittersweet Italian amaro made from 13 herbs and plants, but predominantly artichoke (Cynara Scolymus). Drunk as an aperitif and digestif, it has an ABV of 16.5%.
1 tsp
A liqueur distilled from Marasca cherries, that grow along the Dalmatian coast.
1 twist
A yellow citrus fruit. The peel is often used as a garnish while the juice incorporated into the drink for a tart flavor profile (citric acid).

Stir all the ingredients over ice, then strain into a chilled Nick & Nora glass. Express the lemon twist over the drink and discard. #stir #straight
