Bonaparte Cocktail

3 oz
Water into which carbon dioxide gas under pressure has been dissolved, creating a fizzy texture. We treat soda water, club soda, seltzer and sparkling water the same.
1 oz
A coffee brewed by forcing a small amount of nearly boiling water under high pressure (9x atmospheric pressure) through finely ground coffee beans, producing a small serving known as a shot of espresso.
1.5 oz
A belgian liqueur made with cognac, mandarine peels, herbs and spices; very similar in taste to grand marnier.
1 wheel
An orange colored citrus fruit. Many types of orange make an appearance in cocktails. The peel and juice are equally valuable to diverse cocktails.

Pour chilled soda in an ice-filled glass. Add freshly brewed espresso so it layers on the soda. Lastly pour the Mandarin Napoleon, which will sink through the coffee layer, pulling the drink together. Garnish with an orange slice. #build #ontherocks
