A whiskey blended from various single malt whiskeys, also called blended malt and vatted malt. The 'malt' refers to the malted barley (required in Scotland) or rye, used to make the whiskey.
0.5 oz
Meaning 'scented' in spanish, this is a sherry made in Jerez produced by oxidative aging giving it a dark color and nutty flavor. Unlike the Fino and Amontillado sherries, in Oloroso the flor yeast is suppressed by fortification at an earlier stage, allowing to slowly oxidize for longer time periods (often years) in American or Canadian oak barrels.
2 tsp
Also known as PX, this is the name of a white Spanish wine grape variety grown in several wine regions in Spain. It is intensely sweet and dark; a dessert sherry.
1 tsp
A sweet, banana flavored liqueur usually around 17-25% ABV.
1 twist
An orange colored citrus fruit. Many types of orange make an appearance in cocktails. The peel and juice are equally valuable to diverse cocktails.

Stir all the ingredients over ice, then strain into a single old-fashioned glass over 1 large ice cube. Express the orange twist over the drink and discard. #stir #ontherocks
