Archangel

2 slice
A refreshing tasting watery vegetable used in some cocktails like the Gin and Tonic. Some people say cucumbers taste better pickled.
2.25 oz
A spirit whose flavor profile revolves around juniper berries. Originally from the Middles Ages, modern gin is a derivative of the Dutch drink jenever (genever). You can make a home-made gin by simply infusing vodka. There are a large number of recipes online.
0.75 oz
An Italian aperitif made of bitter orange, gentian, rhubarb and cinchona with other ingredients. Usually 11% ABV.
1 peel
A yellow citrus fruit. The peel is often used as a garnish while the juice incorporated into the drink for a tart flavor profile (citric acid).

In a mixing glass, bruise cucumber slices with a muddler. Add gin, Aperol and ice and stir until chilled. Strain into a chilled flute or cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon peel. #muddle #stir #straight
