Abbreviated SoCo, this American whiskey-flavored liqueur is actually based with neutral spirits. It is made with fruit, spices and whiskey flavoring.
0.5 oz

0.5 oz
A French amaro made with fresh oranges, gentian, quinquina, sugar, syrup and caramel with an ABV or 21-18%. Typically drunk as an aperitif alongside beer.
2 oz
A juice used in some cocktails for its tart and sweet taste as well as beautiful reddish-purple color. The astringent (mouth drying) properties of cranberry juice can be removed by a process called washing, which negates the polyphenols.
1 oz
Water into which carbon dioxide gas under pressure has been dissolved, creating a fizzy texture. We treat soda water, club soda, seltzer and sparkling water the same.
1 dash
A grape distilled base amaro made from various herbs, such as myrrh, rhubarb, chamomile, cardamom, aloe and saffron. Typically 45% ABV.
1 wheel
Small, round, green citrus fruits. Commonly used in many cocktails for its rind or its acidic taste (6% acid total; 4% citric, 2% malic, some succinic acid).

Build in a collins glass with ice, stir, and top with soda. Garnish with a dash of Fernet and a lime wheel. #build #ontherocks

From Chris Hannah. The source recipe calls for Amaro Cora, it is a hard to find Amari from the 60s that is no longer made. Substitute with something dark/earthy with a citrus note, like an Amer.
