Edgewood

1.5 oz
A gin distilled in Plymouth, England. It is less dry than the more common London Dry gin, mainly due to more root ingredients that soften the juniper flavor.
1 oz
A juice used in some cocktails for its tart and acidic properties. Grapefruit juice can be pre-squeezed and kept fresh for many days like orange juice, unlike lemon and lime juice.
0.5 oz
'Point and a half' this Italian bittersweet vermouth (chinato vermouth) dates to around 1867 and is simultaneously amongst the bitterest and sweetest of vermouths. It can be used as a substitute for rosso (Italian red) vermouths in most cases, but can also be thought of as an intersting sub for dry vermouth.
0.5 oz
A light French quinquina aperitif wine produced from 85% Bordeaux semillon wines and 15% macerated liqueurs.
1 pinch
Often used to rim a glass for cocktails or made into a solution to add to the liguid itself in order to balance the flavors. Table salt or common salt is a mineral composed primarily of sodium chloride (NaCl), a chemical compound belonging to the larger class of salts; salt in its natural form as a crystalline mineral is known as rock salt or halite.

Shake with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a pinch of salt. #shake #straight
