The Three Skylarks

1 oz
A French quinquina aperitif wine produced from 85% Bordeaux rosé wines and 15% macerated liqueurs, giving the wine a grapefruit like taste.
1 oz
A Czech herbal bitters, often drunk as a digestive aid. It has a ginger or cinnamon-like flavor; 38% ABV.
0.25 oz
A peach flavored liqueur.
2 dash
A bitters made from Seville oranges, cardamom, caraway seed, coriander and burnt sugar.
3 oz
A carbonated soft drink in which quinine is dissolved, giving an intensly bitter flavor. Originally, tonic was used to fight malaria as the quinine was shown to be effective. However, modern tonic has much less quinine and is really only used for its bitter flavor; please take your malaria pills (and vaccinate your kids).
1 peel
A hybrid citrus fruit originating in Barbados as an accidental cross between two introduced species, sweet orange and pomelo. Like other citrus fruits the grapefruit is popular among cocktails for its peel and juice.

Stir all ingredients, except the tonic, in a mixing glass over ice. Strain into a rocks glass. Top with tonic and garnish with a grapefruit twist and an edible flower. #stir #straight
