'Point and a half' this Italian bittersweet vermouth (chinato vermouth) dates to around 1867 and is simultaneously amongst the bitterest and sweetest of vermouths. It can be used as a substitute for rosso (Italian red) vermouths in most cases, but can also be thought of as an intersting sub for dry vermouth.

A gin that contains no sweetening agents; usually around 40% ABV. Try Monkey 47.
0.5 oz
A belgian liqueur made with cognac, mandarine peels, herbs and spices; very similar in taste to grand marnier.
1 tsp
Crème de Cacao White is a clear liqueur with a milk chocolate flavor, underpinned by faint vanilla and apricot tones.
1 dash
A bitters made from Seville oranges, cardamom, caraway seed, coriander and burnt sugar.
1 dash
A concentrated aromatic bitters made in Trinidad from water, ethanol, gentian and other herbs and spices; used in many classic cocktails like the Manhattan.
1 twist
An orange colored citrus fruit. Many types of orange make an appearance in cocktails. The peel and juice are equally valuable to diverse cocktails.

Stir all the ingredients over ice, then strain into a chilled Nick & Nora glass. Express the orange twist over the drink, then place it in the drink. #stir #straight
