Also refered to as French vermouth, these are (usually) colorless vermouths that have not been sweetened, containing less than 4% sugar.

Also known as Vermouth di Torino, Italian vermouth, rosso and red vermouth; these vermouth have been sweetened with cane sugar or caramelized sugar, usually giving the vermouth 10-15% sugar and a slightly reddish brown color.
0.5 oz
A distilled beverage composed primarily of water and ethanol, sometimes with traces of impurities and flavorings. It can be made from grain, potatoes, rice, beans, beets, fruit or even wood; 40% ABV.

A French herbal liqueur, with DOM meaning Deo Optimo Maximo, 'To God, most good, most great.' Made with 27 herbs and spices, many unknown.
0.25 oz
A common Italian herbal liqueur made from star anise, Mediterranean anise, juniper berry, musk yarrow, lavendar, peppermint, cinnamon and vanilla; 42.3% ABV.
2 dash
A bitters made from Seville oranges, cardamom, caraway seed, coriander and burnt sugar.
1 peel
An orange colored citrus fruit. Many types of orange make an appearance in cocktails. The peel and juice are equally valuable to diverse cocktails.

Stir all ingredients, except the orange peel, over plenty of ice in a mixing glass. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Flame the orange peel over the drink by holding a match near the surface of the peel and squeezing the oils out. Drop the peel in if desired. #stir #straight
