A sparkling wine produced from grapes grown in Champagne, France. The carbonation is due to secondary fermentation of the wine after it's bottled. For our purposes we treat this the same as Brut and Sparkling Wine.

An Italian aperitif made of bitter orange, gentian, rhubarb and cinchona with other ingredients. Usually 11% ABV.

A quinine-laced Moscato wine base aperitif produced in Italy. It is a variety of Americano wine that uses gentian root as the primary ingredient.

Pink in color, this Brachetto d'Acqui and Malvasia di Castelnuovo don Bosco wine base aperitif is made with quinine, giving a mulled wine like spice, yet sweet and fruity.

An orange colored citrus fruit. Many types of orange make an appearance in cocktails. The peel and juice are equally valuable to diverse cocktails.

A yellow citrus fruit. The peel is often used as a garnish while the juice incorporated into the drink for a tart flavor profile (citric acid).

Add all ingredients, except the Champagne, to a wine glass with cracked ice. Add Champagne, then garnish with a slice each of orange and lemon. #build #ontherocks
