A Mexican fernet distilled with cardamom, cinnamon, clove, gentian, mint, orange peel, quassia and rhubarb; 35% ABV.
3.5 oz
A soda, similar to Coke, that is notably made with 'raw' sugar creating a more 'natural' taste (whatever that means).
1 wheel
A yellow citrus fruit. The peel is often used as a garnish while the juice incorporated into the drink for a tart flavor profile (citric acid).
Build in a tall glass over ice. Garnish with a lemon wheel. #build #ontherocks
This is a modified recipe from the original by Mike Shain. The original called for 0.75oz cola syrup and 3.5oz water to then be carbonated.
