Pink in color, this Brachetto d'Acqui and Malvasia di Castelnuovo don Bosco wine base aperitif is made with quinine, giving a mulled wine like spice, yet sweet and fruity.

An Italian aperitif made of bitter orange, gentian, rhubarb and cinchona with other ingredients. Usually 11% ABV.

Water into which carbon dioxide gas under pressure has been dissolved, creating a fizzy texture. We treat soda water, club soda, seltzer and sparkling water the same.

A hybrid citrus fruit originating in Barbados as an accidental cross between two introduced species, sweet orange and pomelo. Like other citrus fruits the grapefruit is popular among cocktails for its peel and juice.
Pour first 4 ingredients into a 10oz Collins glass and add ice. Gently stir to cool. Top with seltzer. Garnish with a grapefruit twist. #build #ontherocks
Make it royal but subbing sparkling wine for the seltzer.
