A brandy produced in the wine-region surrounding Cognac, France. Cognac must be twice distilled and aged for at least two years in French oak.
2 tsp
A sweet, banana flavored liqueur usually around 17-25% ABV.
1 tsp
A grape distilled base amaro made from various herbs, such as myrrh, rhubarb, chamomile, cardamom, aloe and saffron. Typically 45% ABV.
1 twist
An orange colored citrus fruit. Many types of orange make an appearance in cocktails. The peel and juice are equally valuable to diverse cocktails.

Rinse a single old-fashioned glass with the Laphroaig and dump. Stir the remaining ingredients over ice, then strain into the glass. Express the orange twist over the drink, then place it in the drink. #stir #straight
