'Point and a half' this Italian bittersweet vermouth (chinato vermouth) dates to around 1867 and is simultaneously amongst the bitterest and sweetest of vermouths. It can be used as a substitute for rosso (Italian red) vermouths in most cases, but can also be thought of as an intersting sub for dry vermouth.

A hybrid citrus fruit originating in Barbados as an accidental cross between two introduced species, sweet orange and pomelo. Like other citrus fruits the grapefruit is popular among cocktails for its peel and juice.
Stir and strain into a coupe glass rinsed with a smokey mezcal. Express oils from a grapefruit twist of the drink, the discard. #stir #straight
