1 slice
A refreshing tasting watery vegetable used in some cocktails like the Gin and Tonic. Some people say cucumbers taste better pickled.
0.75 oz
A syrup made from dissolving granulated sugar (sucrose) in water. Regular simple is made by combining 1:1 sugar:water by mass, rich simple is 2:1 sugar:water by mass although only 1.5 times as sweet as regular. We always use 1:1 syrup unless otherwise noted in the recipe itself.
0.75 oz
The most common fruit juice used in cocktails. This citrus juice is about 6% acid; pure citric acid. Lemon juice should be used the day it is squeezed, some like it freshly squeezed and others like it a few hours old.
1 oz
A Swiss aperitif flavored with gentian roots; 15% ABV. Pablo Picasso depicted a bottle in his collage 'Verre et bouteille de Suze'.
2 oz
A pale or golden colored lager beer, made with water Pilsner malt and Noble hops. Pale lagers tend to be dry, lean, clean-tasting and crisp. In the case of Saisons, this is a farmhouse style pale ale that is meant to be crisp and refreshing.

In a shaker tin, muddle the cucumber slice. Combine the remaining, except the beer, with ice and shake. In a highball glass, wrap the cucumber slice from base to top. Fill the glass with ice, then add the beer to the glass. Strain the shaken mixture into the glass. Garnish with a cucumber slice on the rim too, if you’d wish. #muddle #shake #ontherocks
