Also refered to as French vermouth, these are (usually) colorless vermouths that have not been sweetened, containing less than 4% sugar.

An Italian bitter aperitif made infusing herbs and fruits in alcohol and water. ABV ranges from 10% to 29% based on country.

An Italian aperitif made of bitter orange, gentian, rhubarb and cinchona with other ingredients. Usually 11% ABV.
4 dash
Bittermens original combination of cinnamon & spice. Try it with rum-based drinks, and other dark aged spirits.

Peat is a dried soil from peatlands, bogs, mires, moors and muskegs. In Scotland, peat fires are used to dry the malted barley, giving the whiskey a smoky flavor.
1 twist
An orange colored citrus fruit. Many types of orange make an appearance in cocktails. The peel and juice are equally valuable to diverse cocktails.

Rinse a cocktail glass with pleated whisky, express an orange peel over the glass and rub it around the rim. Stir remaining ingredients over ice until chilled, then strain into the glass. Garnish with the peel. #stir #straight
